Meet Our Team
Aleashia is originally from Ohio. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and earned a BA Degree from The Ohio State University. She has been in the senior care industry for over 15 years! She began as a concierge/caregiver in a CCRC, while finishing college. Her administrator, at the time, convinced her to accept a Health Information Management Director position, while finishing her Bachelor’s Degree. From there, she continued to become more involved in operations. She was a Marketing Director from 2008-2015. In 2015, she finished her Administrator In Training and become an Administrator.
Aleashia’s favorite part of working with seniors is the wisdom and advice that comes with age. She believes that building relationships with a person at this stage of life is one of the biggest blessings. Her favorite part of working at The Blake is the opportunity to touch the lives of those I serve.
Outside of work, Aleashia enjoys doing anything with family, working out, sports (OSU FAN) and living! She is excited to be part of The Blake family! She looks forward to positioning the team as experts in the community and establishing programs for resident engagement.
Director of Sales
Lindsey joined The Blake team in December 2020, when the community was still a construction site. Along with her husband and son, she moved from her hometown of Henderson, KY to PCB in April 2019. A 2011 graduate from Western Kentucky University, she earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and brings over 10 years of combined experience in long-term care & sales and marketing. Her love for working with seniors began in college by volunteering to lead activities for residents with Dementia & Alzheimer’s. Most recently, she served 3 years as Social Services Director in a skilled nursing facility prior to moving to Florida. Lindsey is also a fully licensed insurance agent and led her territory in new business sales, retention, and financial products for the better part of her 5 year tenure with State Farm.
Lindsey’s favorite part about working with seniors is listening to stories from their past and learning about the experiences that made them who they are today. Her favorite part about working for The Blake is being able to offer seniors a beautiful community, full of compassionate caregivers who provide an environment for them to thrive.
When not at work, she enjoys time with her Husband (Matt), Son (Ruxton) and black Lab (Daisy), boating, going to the beach, kayaking, hunting, fishing, and sports. She loves the Kentucky Wildcats and Dallas Cowboys football, and although she now lives in Florida Gator Country, she will forever Bleed KY Blue.

Director of Activities
Candy is originally from Chicago, but moved to Panama City Beach in 1986. She definitely does not miss the snow! She’d rather sweep sand off her porch than shovel snow off her driveway. She has been working as a Director of Activities at a local resort in PCB for eleven years. While I’m still in transition, her co-workers at The Blake have been amazing. Everyone helps one another like family.
Candy loves working with seniors because it is so rewarding! She loves hearing their stories and sharing memories. She says that she is here to create more memories!
After work, she relaxes by writing, drawing and listening to music or creating it. She plays drums and is currently teaching herself how to play the piano.
