Meet Our Team
Nicole is a Tri-Cities native and comes to us with a wealth of experience having previously served as an administrator in Assisted Living and Memory Care. She is also a Licensed Health & Life Insurance Agent.
Nicole began her career in senior living with the hope of making a difference in the lives of others, not realizing the profound difference that those she serves would make in her own life. She looks forward to building a community in which both our residents & our team members can grow and thrive. Nicole strives every day to exemplify the core values of Blake Management Group which include: accountability, compassion, integrity, joy, fun and leadership.
Nicole and her husband, Jimmy, live in Johnson City and stay busy with their five children, Brittany, Chance, Gavin, Jada and Angel. She is passionate about serving others, especially children and the elderly and enjoys organizing and leading ladies’ retreats in her spare time.
Director of Dining Services
Chef Matt Ball leads our culinary department as Director of Dining Services. Chef Matt comes to us with 17 years experience and a tremendous enthusiasm for serving seniors. Chef Matt is from Kingsport and received his culinary education at Walters State Community College after graduating from Sullivan North High School.
When he’s not serving up delicious meals in our kitchen, you can find him camping, fishing and playing video games with his kids.
Director of Business Operations
Donna Roberts serves as Director of Business Operations. She grew up in Alcoa and recently moved to Kingsport from Knoxville where she spent the last 5 years working as Business Office Director at an Assisted Living & Memory Care Community. Donna graduated from ETSU and has over 27 years of experience in office administration. She loves working with seniors because she never feels like she is “going to work.” She feels blessed to be able to listen to the many stories of wisdom and faith that are shared by residents.
Donna is very excited to join our team at The Blake and loves the positive energy that surrounds each member of our team. She is truly honored to be a part of our leadership launch team and loves getting to see the excitement of the entire Kingsport community about our upcoming opening.
Director of Activities
Cindy Lemons is The Blake at Kingsport’s Director of Activities and a native and lifelong resident of Kingsport. She studied Elementary Education at Tennessee Wesleyan College and has over 20 years experience planning events for community boards and organizations.
Cindy is a foodie at heart and loves collecting recipes and cookbooks, reading magazine about cooking and baking and cooking for family and friends.
Theresa Redmond joined The Blake at Kingsport as our move-in coordinator and then transitioned into our full-time Concierge. In this role, she will work with residents and families coordinating move-ins and making sure their transition to The Blake is comfortable and seamless. Theresa is from Bristol, TN and comes to us with 10 years experience in senior care.
