6/29/20 Update from Executive Director Nicole Briggs

Jun 29, 2020 | COVID-TBAK, Kingsport

An Update from The Blake at Kingsport

We can’t thank you enough for the love and support you’ve shown for our community during these challenging times.  We’re pleased to report that we do not have any residents or employees with COVID-19. Because our residents are most vulnerable to experience more severe symptoms from the COVID-19 virus, continuing to keep our community healthy and safe while remaining true to our core values of compassion and joy is our priority.

We continue to follow CDC guidelines and the Tennessee Department of Health mandate which restricts visitors and non-essential personnel to all assisted living facilities in the State of Tennessee. We are practicing social distancing, enhanced infection control protocols, and are monitoring staff and residents for fever or illness.

We have reviewed our current visitation protocols to determine a safe plan for a phased re-opening of our doors to families and guests which we are prepared to implement when state regulations allow and our wellness team determines that doing so will not put the health and safety of our community in jeopardy.  We encourage you to schedule a parking lot visit or virtual facetime visit with your loved ones by calling our concierge at (423) 246-1100 or by following the links below.

We understand the importance of communication and will post and share updates at Please contact me at (423) 246-1100 if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank You,

Nicole Briggs
