An Update from The Blake at Pensacola
We’re happy to report that while we are practicing physical distancing and expanded infection control protocols, engagement and joy are still a part of life at The Blake. Last week, we enjoyed homemade ice cream and homemade cookies and our resident musicians are performing daily.
We’re also pleased to report that we have had no positive test results for residents or staff at The Blake at Pensacola.
We continue to follow CDC and Florida Department of Health guidelines by restricting visitors and non-essential personnel, practicing social distancing, practicing handwashing, and daily monitoring of staff for fever or illness. Last week, we began asking all residents to wear cloth masks any time they are outside of their apartment or are receiving one on one care from our team members.
We will continue to actively monitor residents for fever and respiratory symptoms twice a day. Staff members and essential visitors are required to wash their hands upon entry into the building. Our staff members continue to wear masks while on duty. We have reinforced to our staff that anyone who is sick should stay home.
We understand the importance of close communication between our team, families and health care partners and will continue to post and share updates at www.qslmanagement.com/tbap-covid. Please contact me at (850) 476-1010 if you have any questions or concerns.
