As our nation, state and local community cope with the coronavirus pandemic, we wish to provide you with this important update regarding The Blake at Kingsport. Today, November 26, 2020, one of our residents has tested positive for COVID-19. No other residents or other staff have tested positive for COVID-19 at this time.
We share this information with you because we believe it is beneficial for everyone’s health and well-being to keep our residents, families and staff fully informed.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 beginning at dinner on Thursday, November 26th we will discontinue meal services in the dining room and all residents will receive room service delivery in their apartments. All activities will be discontinued and residents are encouraged to remain in their apartments. If residents leave their apartment, they are encouraged to wear a face covering, limit their movement throughout the community, practice social distancing by remaining at least 6 feet apart from others, and thoroughly wash hands upon returning to your apartment.
